Buffet and Keilwerth student model baritones are two of the best-sounding horns in the mid-range school line.

P. Mauriat's baris, like the rest of their horns, are killer - if you're looking for something that's got the tone, power, and response you want, but don't have $7k to drop on a horn, this is a horn to check out.  Other than Keilwerth, PM is the only big name to put out low Bb horns.

Keilwerth SX90 series baris are just what one would expect from Keilwerth - monsters that have that fat sound like a vintage horn, but with modern keywork.  Keilwerth, by the way, is the only one of the "Big 4" manufacturers that still offers a low Bb horn for those who feel low A horns are too stuffy.
