Guitar Hero Information and Rules

Open Play Fee ($2.00) provides participant with one song to play just for fun. NOT as part of the competition.

Competition Fee ($5.00) provides player with two songs to play at the level of competition that they choose.

Participants may compete in more than one difficulty level per evening at the rate of $5.00 per set.

Players may participate in Open Play and in the Competition Play in the same night.

We will select two songs per difficulty level for each night. If you are competing this is the song you have to play. Everyone competing in that level will do those two songs. This is so that the scoring is fair.

Highest score for each difficulty level wins a prize.

One award will be awarded each night to the player with the highest percentage of correct notes in a row. That is, the longest streak of correct notes. This is awarded regardless of difficulty level.

The high scores will be recorded and at the end of the four week tournament a Grand Prize Winner will be announced in each difficulty level. These will be awarded at the end of the fourth week.

Prizes include : Event Winner T-Shirts, Gift Cards, Picks, Guitar Strings, other T-Shirts, Guitar Stands, Music.

GUITAR HERO TOURNAMENT!!! 

On March 22nd Woodsy’s had our first Guitar Hero Tournament in our Performance Annex (124 E. Main Street Kent, Oh). The whole thing was done with a rock concert vibe, complete with light show and fog machine. We ran the sound through our Turbo Sound PA rig and boy was it loud. This tournament was the first round of our Spring Tournament Session. The Second Round will be on April 12th and the Third Round will be on April 26th. The winners from each night in each category (Medium, Hard, and Expert) will all meet on April 26th for the Finals. The April 26th date will have the qualifying rounds first and then the finals later in the evening. There are prizes awarded nightly as well as grand prizes which are awarded at the end of the April 26th date. Give us a call to sign up 330-673-1525.
