1941 Martin R-18 Archtop in very nice condition
- Serial # 78843
- Guitar plays and sounds very nice
- No structural problems, very solid binding, neck joint, etc.
- Tuners are not original
- Pick guard is missing, pick guard bracket in case
- While
we do not have this information from a previous owner, it appears to us
that the first 10-12 frets have been replaced and the back of the neck
has been very professionally refinished. You can still see the outlines
of the old tuners, so the headstock was not done.
- Heavy, arch top chipboard case included, believed to be original
- Antique case candy: several picks, a couple nut extenders, two capos, a slide and a pitch pipe.
