Music Education is so important to us here at Woodsy's, for a variety of reasons. Obviously we make our living in the music business. For most of us, music also is our hobby and something we share with our friends and families.

Beyond that, however, music and an education in the arts are just so beneficial. As the graphic from Fender at the right says, "Kids who study music do better in school, and in life."

Every study that has ever been done on the subject has come to the same conclusion. The music students consistently get better grades, go to college more often and so on, than students never exposed to music education.

We try to do our part, first by supporting the music education programs in our local schools with affordable instrument rentals, repairs and service with pickup and delivery and assistance with special programs like piano labs and guitar classes.  

We also offer private lessons from a very professional staff of instructors.
