Daniel Nauss
Cello, Upright Bass, Guitar & Electric Bass

Dan is a comprehensive string instrument performer who is currently a member of the Alliance Symphony as well as a member of advanced ensembles at Kent State. His wide spectrum  of musical performance includes everything from professional Big Bands, jazz groups and Symphonies to rock groups. Dan stresses fundamentals in a fun and relaxed approach.

Tim Staron
Violin & Viola

Tim holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition and a Master's Degree in voilin performance from Kent State University. He has performed for over two decades with groups like the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, as well as the Akron, Canton, and Youngstown Symphonies. In addition to years of private teaching he also serves as an assistant with the Kent Stanton Middle School String Program and is also an adjunct faculty member and Director of the Chamber Orchestra at Hiram College.

Ola Akinyelure
Violin, Viola & Cello

Ola earned her B.A. in Music Education from Cleveland State University where she was a full ride performance scholarship recipient. After some time performing with the Battle Creek Symphony orchestra she returned to Northeast Ohio to begin Masters work at Akron University. Her teaching has included private lessons at the Sutphen School of Music in Cleveland and classroom teaching in the Akron Public Schools. Ola teaches all ages and takes a very individual approach with all students.

Amber Soika
Violin

Amber is a major scholarship student at Kent State where she earned high honors in their finest string groups. Her teaching experience has included younger through advanced high school musicians. She is in demand as a rehearsal and sectional clinician throughout the area. Amber's friendly, positive, and realistic approach brings immediate success to her students.
